I don't know what I'll do if newspapers like the New York Times put all of their content behind a paywall. They are my bread and butter! This is the issue that keeps me up at night — forget the whole blogger vs. journalist debate…bloggers need journalists…or else we won't have anything to link to!

Anyway the New York Times (reg. required), had a handful of interesting articles this weekend. First up the Times discovers the Gothic Lolita fashion trend, which I think is kinda like Britney school girl meets French maid meets The Cure….Of course there's a whole community formed around the trend on Live Journal.

Next up the Times writes about how Disney takes risks and gives its young directors lots of freedom by focusing on 33-year-old director Angela Robinson, who is behind the helm of
"Herbie: Fully Loaded" (link goes to movie trailer). Robinson also directed the much buzzed about D.E.B.S. ("an action-movie parody and lesbian love story about a teenage paramilitary organization" opening March 25)…

On to television where we get an inside look at the "fraternity" of young men behind the scenes of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block…

And finally, because chastity is so stylish, the Sunday Styles section profiles hip "born again" author [hello...she has cat eye glasses] Lauren Winner about her new book, "Real Sex: The Naked Truth About Chastity".
