My daughter is 9 and she thinks it’s adorable. Why does everything have to be “gender neutral” anyway? If you don’t like it don’t buy it and get a regular guitar. I do a podcast at http://www.sarcasticgamer.com called the PINK podcast. Should we be offended that they chose to call our girl gaming show PINK? I personally don’t like the color pink but hey…if you need something to complain about…

YES! Thank you, Meredith. When I saw the guitar I just sighed. I see Stefan’s point about various guitars, but this one “for girls” is just incredibly lame.

Normally I would agree. I hate when stuff is made pink just to appeal to girls.

But on this one item I have to disagree cause even as a guy I think it look pretty awesome.

This is not just a normal guitar turned pink. this was styled and I think given the proper attention to be awesome.

So much of guitar hero is unlocking outfits and guitars it seems only natural to me that people would want custom GH guitars in real life. I would think they would come out with many different guitar styles.

I don’t think this is the same as a Pink Razor that is the same as every other razor but pink. This guitar girl rocker awesomeness.

They are SO missing the boat on this. I know plenty of girls who love Guitar Hero and play it regularly. Creating this frou-frou guitar was a pointless move that will only end up segregating the players. Boys won’t play with the pinky heart guitar because it’s too girly…girls won’t play with the standard guitar because it’s “for boys.”

It’s as bad as the new “pink versions” of Monopoly, Scrabble and Life that are out now. Pointless and sad.
