From The Ypulse WTF Files

Posted by anastasia on 05-08-2007

I remember going to a tanning salon before my prom. Since I never really went to tanning salons before that afternoon (who needed to when you had baby oil and foil?), it felt like a splurge. That seems tame compared to today's wealthy teens "getting plumper puckers and Botoxed brows for their big night."

From the New York Post article:

Dr. Lewis Feder said two teens came to his Fifth Avenue office for some pre-prom primping that included Botox between the eyes.

"They both had very hyperactive muscles," said the Fifth Avenue doctor. "We gave them each half a syringe, and the muscles are smooth and beautiful."

He said he has also given three other girls - two from Westchester and one from Manhattan - Restylane injections for artfully fattened lips that cost about $600 each.

WTF?

Also, I get that there are consequences for posting inappropriate photos on your public profiles, but being denied your degree over one drinking photo in college? Of course young woman is suing the university. And…Free Paris Hilton?

I don't understand why some girls think fattened lips are attractive.

On the TV show "Dead Like Me," the starring actress looked pretty in the pilot.

But then the actress got her lips fattened and didn't look as good in subsequent episodes.
