From the Ypulse WTF Files

This one was sent to me from Ypulse contributing editor Karell. Evidently Internet addiction is becoming an epidemic among Chinese youth. So much so, that they are conducting an “experiment” aimed to “persuade the public, especially teenagers, not to over-use various forms of media, particularly the Internet.” While the study of teens and the concerns the article raises are completely legitimate, I think it’s the Chinese context (of heavy government control and censorship) that makes it scary, and therefore falls into WTF.
