Dear Diary

You can read uncensored and honest diaries by youth from all over the world at The Diary Project, a non-profit organization that encourages teens to write about their day-to-day experiences growing up. The teen diaries are often deeply personal — filled with the stuff you'd expect in a private diary, not on the Internet for everyone to read. The Diary Project gives teens an outlet for anything and everything on their minds.

From Anastasia: What's cool and different about The Diary Project vs. other blogging sites that host lots of teen blogs is that there is a team of adult and teen monitors "who consistently read all the material that is sent to The Diary Project website." They have also produced the "Diary Deck," which is a deck of cards that contain a thematic real diary entry from the project and a list of questions for adults to discuss with teens.
