Crash & Burn

So my Web host “suspended” my account last night b/c my blogging software and programming combined with the level of traffic was crashing their servers (MT dynamic publishing) or something like that. Talk about feeling totally helpless (they have no phone support, just tickets).
I spent yesterday evening and this morning dealing with the situation and getting them to unsuspend my site. In the process, something happened and I can’t get the newsletter to work correctly. So a big apology to my advertisers — your ads are not in the newsletter today because we can’t get them to show up. Something happened when they shut down the site and we can’t figure out what it is yet. Hopefully we’ll have it fixed this week.
You may also notice the helpful calendar that had the days linked where there were entries is gone for now, too. Allegedly that was also causing server “stress.” We’re working on a less stressful alternative. Thanks for your patience everyone.
