College Students Back Online With a Vengeance

According to the research, "in September, more than 12 million college students accessed the Web either from a dormitory or private residence." So much for the stoned slacker stereotype — the no. 1 category for this population was career services & development — training & education followed by technology, retail and entertainment. That article has a nifty chart at the bottom that breaks out the highest indexing categories (a measure of the proportional likelihood of a population segment to visit a site or group of sites compared to the average user).
