I think the VMAs were much better this year, with interesting and innovative music performances (the idea of using studio props was really good). Plus, I thought Russel Brand was a really good choice since he is a phenomenon among British youth (although British humor is way too refined for the USA) but he wasn't that great (the CHOICE was good though)... plus, I don't understand WHY people were expecting Britney to perform since it was announced right from the beginning she would NOT perform and would instead open the show in a "different" way. Overall, I thought the VMAs were much better this year than in previous years. And I would add The Hills and everything else MTV did to the WORST list. Anyway, I agree with almost everything else (let me just point out Pushing Daisies was on ABC not on NBC). I disagree.
