		<description>I disagree. I think the VMAs were much better this year, with interesting and innovative music performances (the idea of using studio props was really good). Plus, I thought Russel Brand was a really good choice since he is a phenomenon among British youth (although British humor is way too refined for the USA) but he wasn&#039;t that great (the CHOICE was good though)... plus, I don&#039;t understand WHY people were expecting Britney to perform since it was announced right from the beginning she would NOT perform and would instead open the show in a &quot;different&quot; way.

Overall, I thought the VMAs were much better this year than in previous years.

And I would add The Hills and everything else MTV did to the WORST list.

Anyway, I agree with almost everything else (let me just point out Pushing Daisies was on ABC not on NBC).</description>
