I wanted to be a lawyer so badly, and when I read TKAM in high school, he quickly became a hero figure for me. That was the first time in my life that I began to feel empowered to change some of the wrong I saw in the world, and to have had someone like Atticus as a mentor would have been priceless. It would have been a bonus to have known Scout and Boo as well. Oh my gosh, Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird, definitely.
