How We Do It
Ypulse's intelligence is derived from our direct relationships with 2 million Millennials across our two communities: SurveyU a traditional online research panel as well as Thumb, a mobile social Q&A network. Thumb's innovative, peer-to-peer social media network is where millions of people under the age of 30 go on their iOS and Android devices to ask and answer each others' questions.
To date, more than 3 billion opinions have been shared across our platforms, enabling brands to ask questions as well as access a real-time stream of authentic Millennial opinion and sentiment.
Based in New York, Ypulse is the combination of three companies, all passionate about the opinions of young people.
Ypulse kicked things off in 2004, guiding companies on how to successfully communicate and market to youth. SurveyU began in 2007, dedicated to help companies understand young consumers via its online research community. SurveyU and Ypulse merged in 2009. Thumb burst onto the scene in 2010 with a mobile app that was rapidly embraced by youth worldwide as a place to ask and answer each others' questions. Thumb joined the team in 2013.
