Snapchat’s social media star is continuing to rise. According to a Harvard study, Snapchat’s popularity is soaring within the 18-to-29 age bracket: 36% stated they use the app, which is an 8% increase over last year. Instagram growth comes second at a 7% increase from 2014, but has a larger base of young users at 46%. Established platform Facebook has the largest number of users, but grew only 1% over last year. Poor Twitter gets no new love: the number of Millennials on the platform has remained steady at 38% over the past year. (MediaPost)
